XDefiant has no release date outside of summer, but it’s due for release on the PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S and PC. Consoles will unfortunately not be able to access the game until we can bring this patch to consoles as soon as we can.

Update: For those on PC (and assuming you have the Ubisoft Connect app downloaded) you should be able to open the beta page and download the client by this link: Those who want to take part, download the Ubisoft Connect app and select the “Games” tab and under “My Games” choose “XDefiant.” So part of the issue with PC players in particular not seeing the game for download if they were in the CB is that if you opt-ed out of communication from Ubi in the settings you weren’t getting approved for the early start. PC: Those on PC who got in the closed beta, there’s an issue right now if you opted out of communications from Ubisoft in the settings. Xbox Series X|S – Unfortunately, XDefiant Producer Mark Rubin has confirmed that Xbox gamers will need to download a new application for it. Update: You can download the Open Session beta client for PS5 here: PSN US Link, PSN EU Link, Asia PSN Link. This will be enough, and you’ll be able to jump in tomorrow once the servers are live.

PS5 – If you have the PS5 version of the client already downloaded, you’ll just need to update it to version 1.000.003 which is live already.

However, considering the XDefiant closed beta was extended, perhaps we could see the same thing happening to the open beta, considering it's been having some server issues. The XDefiant open beta started on June 21 and will run until Saturday, June 24. We're within the release window now and there's still no confirmed release date, so it seems Ubisoft are using the current open beta to test the game's polish before committing to a specific date. Ubisoft has confirmed that XDefiant will launch in Summer 2023 which could mean anytime between June 21, to September 23, 2023, if we want to get technical with it. Mark Rubin has stated the aim is 2023 at some point, however theres no official release date slated it seems (maybe internally but not sure).

A new alpha phase its announced, it will start in mid february and will be focused on crossplay. Xbox Game Pass June 2023 second wave includes the fantastic Arcade Paradise XDefiant expected release date I wouldn’t be surprised is XDefiant doesn’t survive.
